We went to their Light Street Pavilion location at Harbor place, the entrance is on the side closest to the Science Center. It's a short menu but very good! Two of us enjoyed freshly cooked lunches over two visits from skipping overpriced Convention Center offerings: catfish sandwiches were freshly fried and delicious, shrimp had light batter and a dipping sauce that was on point, and the wings were perfectly battered and seasoned-I asked for hot sauce but barely used any because they were tasty (not overly spicy-hot) and flavorful. Fries were piping hot and seasoned with a salt, pepper and herb blend that was a delicious variation. They had two puddings, the butter crunch came home with me and was creamy goodness with bits of confection/toffee that had me wishing I had more. The people were lovely (counter service) and the seating area had bright tables indoors and plenty of space.

I went back and this time I had the catfish and shrimp sub. The service was great as usual and my food was packed and ready to go when I arrived. This sub was on another level! I'll definitely be back.

The perfect lunch staple for you if you're in the Station North area. Black owned business tucked away with good food for lunch or early dinner. Highlights are the menu offering, the food made with love, and the impeccable customer service. Soul Kuisine café is one that's on my to go lunch spot that while I know I can't hide it as a secret forever deserves all the flowers for such great food. Note: This is a carry out spot. Be careful on the steps because the bottom one is steep.

Delicious. That's all. Food was amazing. Great portions. Fast delivery. I did not dine in so I'm unable to review ambiance but will definitely be a repeat customer.

The food was really good. I ordered a few items since it was my first time here. I heard rave reviews about this place. My first order was chicken wings and fries, which was crunchy, hot & seasoned. I snuck a taste of both and was satisfied. My next order was fried shrimp, mac & cheese, and cabbage. I was told there will only be 8 large shrimp but there was much more. I gave my mac and cheese away since it wasn't my favorite but the cabbage was really good. My next order was just a side of sweet potatoes which was decent, I shared this and it was a fave. The last two items ordered were sweet tea, which was a thumbs up and peach cobbler which I did not enjoy due to the cake mixture to the cobbler. The place is like a hole in the wall but I rather great food over ambiance.

Food is amazing. I had the Louis Armstrong sandwich -fried catfish with peepers onion and tomato on a gourmet bun . Super fresh and flavors melded together perfectly. For any sandwich I have always believed that the right bread can elevate it into another realm and I don't know what kind of roll this was on but made it unbelievable . Fries were thick cut -homage and flavored with salt and rosemary -$16 but worth cost due to size. I had half for lunch and half for dinner so it was more sub size. Where things went wrong with me has nothing to do with the food and I will return time and time again. I just think hopefully was an off day. I called in twice 2 minutes apart to place order for a coworker and myself. Upon arrival my order was ready but we waited 20 minutes for coworkers order. Waiting area is a tiny area with 2 chairs off to the side. The other half is the one alkyl to counter. So people were actually stepping outside to accommodate lunch rush. We watched 2 huge roaches die under the chairs within the 20 minutes we waited. Now .... The place is basement level meaning you walk down a few steps from sidewalk to get in so we decided to attribute the death scene to that but was a turn off. The cashier also gave us some free drinks to account for the wait but it was church sweet which I know some people like but I couldn't taste much past the sugar. Was supposedly strawberry mint lemonade.

The smile on my face when I dug in and had a taste of that mac&cheese shrimp bowl was PRICELESS Love, love, love this black owned establishment. Everything ordered was delicious. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Wait time was decent and when I came to pick up my food the host was very pleasant. I think it's a take-out establishment not dinning in. Didn't see enough space for dining in. Can totally see this business with a booming dine-in restaurant tho!

Soul Kuisine is a small hidden gem that has some of the best soul food in Baltimore! I've tried a number of their food items, but what keeps drawing me back for more is their grilled salmon imperial. That dish itself is worth the trip to this restaurant. It's a grilled salmon fillet topped with crabmeat and a creamy white sauce. For my sides I got their seasoned rice and cabbage. I would say that the cabbage was a little over cooked but still tasted good. The seasoned rice was really tasty, and it paired well with the salmon. The wait time is a little longer because the food is cooked to order, but it's worth the wait since you'll be getting a fresh and tasty meal.
